Late Wednesday update

This week's sketch is one made by me, Jeanette, and hopefully it can inspire you to be a little bit creative. Get your patterned papers and decos out and start scrapping - this could be used both for layouts and cards, I believe:

What are you waiting for? Make yourself a nice cup of tea, and get scrapping, now! :D

Take care!

Time for a sketch!

So you thought we'd abandoned you? No way! :D Here's a treat for you - coming all the way from England:

Photobucket

This week's sketch is made by Annika and the interpretations by Jeanette and Zarah herself - a sketch that looked "easy" from the beginning, but turned out to be harder than I thought. After some pulling out papers and decorations and shuffling them back and forth, I finished the LO, late last night - and I'm happy I took the time to do it. It reminds me of our beautiful wedding day and the love I feel for my husband, David.

Well, enough babbling from me, I'll let you see the LO now:

Photobucket
The title says: "The 2 of us"

Here is Zarah's go on the sketch - a beautiful card:

Photobucket
I just looooove her cards and LOs - keep 'em coming! :D

...and she does... Here's yet another card made from the sketch - she's on a roll now!

Photobucket

Amanda has contributed with her go on the sketch - a wonderful LO with her sweet, sweet son:

So, when can we see your interpretations of the sketch?? ;D

Have a lovely Wednesday!

So it's Wednesday...

...and that means that I should update, right?!

Of course I will, too!
These beautiful pieces of art are made for the challenges I posted last time. The first LO and the card (I added the detail pictures too, because they're just so good) are made by the very sweet & talented Lene - she used the kit Virkelig Vintage (meaning "Very Vintage") from her kit shop Ecclectic kits for them both.
Doesn't that just look yummy?!

The blue layout is made by the amazing Maja who's beautiful style you might recognize, since been a guest designer here before.

Thanks to you both for playing along!
:D

Some inspiration?

Hi everybody!

To celebrate my first post in this blog I thought I'd share with you my version of one of Z's wonderful sketches in the previous post - I also found it appropriate to scrap about the brilliant blog owner, so without furter ado:

Photobucket

The title says "Concrete babe", and the text says "Behind her sunglasses she can be herself", which is very strange to translate into English, since it is a quote from a well-known Swedish pop song... ;)

I'm really looking forward to seeing YOUR interpretations of the sketches!

Visit her blog & leave some love, why don't you?
I promise - you're in for a treat!

Sketch #29

It's Wednesday again and the winter is nagging at our toes. Or at least mine.
I thought I'd have this week's chosen LO fit the theme of winter, cosiness and indoor warmth, by showing you this pretty interpretation by Johanna.
Doesn't it just make you wanna curl up in a blanket and light some candles?
Yes? Thought so. :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Sketch #28

Another Wednesday - another SKETCH!
This week, I have got no less than three beautiful LOs from two amazing ladies: Maja (the first LO) and Lynlee (the two following)!
Lynlee said I could choose. She was way wrong. How could I ever?!
So I added both her LOs.

These ladies were both in my challenge a while back, and I asked if they'd like to make an LO for me.
They did - which made me VERY happy.

Thank you, gals!
:D

Sketch #27

Happy hump day to you all!
Especially happy for me, because I have the honour of presenting a new designer for the blog! :) Her name is Anna and she's known in Sweden for being the queen of journaling, and for her amazing photos.
As you can see - she's an awesome scrapper!

Leave her some ♥ in her blog, won't ya?
:)

Sketch #26

Surprise!!
I know it's Thursday, buuuut - since I happened to get Tammy Tutterow to do not only one but TWO sketches for me, I decided to put them both up pretty immediately.
(Can you blame me?! *grins*)
That woman is wicked talented - just look how different this LO is from the former - and how it still has that elegant flow to it!
Tammy - you seriously ROCK!

:)

Sketch #25

I'd like to start this Wednesday early (it's just past midnight in Sweden, but I'm too jittery about this to wait any longer!...) by welcoming a fantastic guest artist onto the blog.
You see - I've managed to get none other than one of my biggest idols, the great Tammy Tutterow to design from my sketches!
Imagine my surprise and pride, when my mail came back with a positive reply!

With a heartfelt THANK YOU to the wonderful Tammy, I give you all this week's sketch and the beautiful LO based on it.

Sketch #24

This week, I have fun news. My team of talented scrappers who design for me, has gotten an addition - and I'd like to present to you:
Johanna/Silwerstar!

Isn't she amazingly talented?!
Leave her some ♥ on her blog, why don't you?
:)

Ps. All my sketches are adaptable, and I encourage that. As you can see below, Johanna took my 12x12-sketch and made a lettersize LO. Brilliant!

Sketch #23 - and the interpretations

First of all - I'd like to say THANK YOU to everyone who participated and who sent me kind notes regarding both this and my other (less fun) post, the other day.
You guys are the reason why I do this.

Second of all. I couldn't choose. No way! You're all so amazingly talented and each and every interpretation had it's own charm and personal touches that made the unique, special and oh so beautiful!

...so I decided to showcase them ALL!

You guys ROCK!
Thanks so much for playing along!

Ps. I'm sorry your names don't show up, but I didn't want to ruin your pictures with watermarks. If you click on a photo, you'll get to it's page, and the name of it's maker will be visible for you. Thanks!

Sketch #22

This week, the sketch is a bit more freestyle - or clean if you will. There's a lot of room for personal interpretation (which I absolutely love and encourage!) as you can also see from the lovely LOs - made by my dear, wickedly talented friends Annika (the first one) and Sofie (the second one - and by the way, Fiffi, I'm still not sure it's legal, being as beautiful as you are!!... *smiles*).

Hope you love the LOs as much as I do - and don't hesitate to leave the artists behind them some love!

Thanks for popping by!

A special sketch (#21)

A little while ago, I got this very sweet email from a super kind lady over at the Aussie shop & forum Country Papercraft. She asked me if they could use one of my sketches for their newsletter - and of course they could!
I actually thought they deserved a bit better than that - so I made a sketch for them, exclusively.

The newsletter (hey - start subbing - it's filled to the BRIM with awesome inspiration!! And check out that forum too, while you're at it!) is out now and I asked if I could show you all their amazing takes on the sketch on the blog, and they agreed!

So - this week's very special guest artists are the awesome Country Papercraft's Crew:
Michelle, Deb, Leonie and Lynlee!

Thanks for scrapping my sketch! I am honoured!

Sketch #17

Think I'm a day too early?
I'm not, really. It's past midnight in Sweden and I went to bed 3 hours ago.
At least that was my intention. Somehow, I ended up on an extended bloghop instead and, well... I might just spoil you with this Wednesday's sketch being a bit ahead of time!

The LO, this time, is made by the very talented Monique! TFS! :D

Saturday - and lots of time to scrap. I guarantee that you'll be inspired and amazed by this great LO, provided by Pam!
Hopefully you'll like the sketch too.
Have a good day!

Sketch #15

Today, we're celebrating the fact that we're halfway to the weekend with this awesome LO by Amanda - and my sketch that it's based on.

Hope you love it as much as I do - and leave Amanda some love, why don't you?
:)

Ps. Check out the added LOs on sketch 3 and sketch 9 too!

Sketch #14

Finally weekend...!
I hope you've all had a happy scrappy week - and that you're now back with loaded batteries and lots of mojo - because I have a new sketch to show you.

This time, there are two interpretations.
The LO is made by the insanely talented, wonderful Fiffi - and the card is made by me.
(The stamp is drawn by Nina. Isn't she aswesome?)

Hope you like them!
